Inground Pool Removal & Demolition in South Jersey.

J.A. Cuzzupe Inc. removes inground pools across Cherry Hill and South Jersey — full removal or partial fill-in — including demolition, hauling, engineered backfill, compaction, and final grading, all self-performed by one licensed crew.

01

Full Removal vs. Partial Fill-In Choose the right scope.

There are two ways to remove an inground pool. The right choice depends on your budget, future plans for the yard, and what the town or a future buyer will expect.

  • Partial fill-in: walls are broken down, bottom is perforated, and the cavity is filled. Faster and less expensive.
  • Full removal: the entire shell, walls, and floor are hauled out. Best for resale disclosure and future construction.
  • Full removal eliminates settlement risk and gives you the most usable yard.
  • Partial fill-in may need to be disclosed to buyers and can limit what you build over the area.

Our Pool Removal Process From pool to lawn.

Every pool removal follows a controlled sequence so the yard drains properly, compacts fully, and is ready for grass or future construction.

  • 01. Drain & disconnect utilities
  • 02. Pull demolition permits
  • 03. Demolish pool shell and walls
  • 04. Haul off concrete and debris
  • 05. Backfill in compacted lifts
  • 06. Final grade
  • 07. Topsoil & seed

Permits in South Jersey We handle the paperwork.

Demolition permits are required in most towns, including Cherry Hill. We pull permits and coordinate inspections in Camden and Burlington County townships so the job is closed out correctly.

FAQ

Common questions, honest answers.

Partial fill-ins in New Jersey typically range from $5,000 to $10,000, while full removals usually fall between $10,000 and $18,000 depending on access, pool size, and disposal. Every project gets a free written itemized estimate.

Partial removal saves money upfront. Full removal is the better long-term choice if you plan to build over the area, want clean resale disclosure, or want to eliminate settlement risk.

Only after a full removal with engineered, compacted backfill. That is exactly how we perform our full removals, so the area is suitable for future construction.
